Art Lessons for Adults & Kids

Kids Ages 5 through 16.

Prices are for 4 Weekly Lessons

Browse through our Art Lessons for:

Ages: 5 – 7. Young children should be able to write their own name, cut with scissors and stay on task for 45 minutes at a time.

Ages: 8 – 11. We explore a variety of media and draw both imaginary images as well as observed still life.

Ages: 12 – 16. Geared to the more serious young artist, classes include drawing from life, practice in perspective, shading and proportions. Older students will work on independent projects suitable for portfolio presentation preparation.

All art supplies are inclusive.

Adults (Ages 16 and above)

Prices are per 2 hour Workshop

Classes in a variety of media for beginner artists and experienced artists alike are scheduled for September and October, priced at $30 per two hour workshop.  The name of this fun new program is S.T.A.R.T. or "Stop thinking art is really tough". We love sharing our experience as working artists and educators with you. We hope the artwork made by our adult students will get your own creative juices flowing. We supply all the materials as well as wine, soda and English tea! So come out and relax, have a laugh and make some wonderful art.

Lara and Jillian are professional working artists with many years of teaching experience between them. Jillian teaches at the Cary Senior Center, Apex Community Center, Artspace, Wake Technical College and Carolina Preserve.
