We teach kids how to draw! By guiding your child gently through the simple, step by step process of creating a representational outline each week, we quickly build confidence, self esteem and enhanced fine motor skills. Additional school readiness skills such as listening and taking direction, problem solving and staying on task, also improve through our weekly classes. Kids use a variety of age-appropriate meda including markers, watercolors, pastels, and collage. Each week we tackle a different project: castles, mermaids, birds and animals, rocket ships and motorbikes, cartoon characters and famous artists and much more. Art history and appreciation are part of every lesson, with loads of books and visuals for reference in our studio. We encourage our students to keep a portfolio of their work and we plan an art show once a year.
