Summer Camps for Kids 4 to 10

Exciting Art Camps in Cary, North Carolina for children aged 4 1/2 to 10 years old. Camps are offered in our cozy, light filled home studio, where children can enjoy playing safely in a natural area with lots of trees and a small creek. It’s conveniently located in the Kenilworth neighborhood off Cary Parkway near the Fresh Market. 

Days and Times:  Mondays – Fridays, 9-12:30 p.m. Bring a snack and a bag lunch, dress to mess.

Ages: 4.5 – 10. Young children should be able to write their own name, cut with scissors and stay on task for 45 minutes at a time.

Fees per week: $150. Enroll for one week or more. Maximum number per session: 10. We offer a 10% sibling discount. See enrolment proceduures below.

Instructor to child ratio: We will always have two instructors in the camp.

Summer Art Lessons for Ages 4 through 16

Browse through our Wednesday Summer Art Lessons for:

Ages: 4 – 6. Young children should be able to write their own name, cut with scissors and stay on task for 45 minutes at a time.

Ages: 7 – 9. We explore a variety of media and draw both imaginary images as well as observed still life.

Ages: 10 – 16. Geared to the more serious young artist, classes include drawing from life, practice in perspective, shading and proportions. Older students will work on independent projects suitable for portfolio presentation preparation.

Students select dates to attend from a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 9 classes through the summer: all art supplies are inclusive.
